The lubricants for these engines have to meet VW specifications 508 00 or 509 00.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>More specifically, the approval concerns the 2.0 TFSI- (140 kW) and the 3.0 TDI CR (160kW) engines that have been in production since mid-2015. The Champion OEM SPECIFIC 0W20 LL FE was developed to prolong engine life and to maintain the efficiency of the emission systems.  In addition, its low viscosity contributes to over 4 percent of fuel savings.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Nicolas Verellen, general manager at Wolf Oil Corporation, the manufacturer of Champion: “Modern car engines are smaller and more economic, but still offer more power.
