NUNC Capital backs Planck Dynamics to give frontline units a decisive edge

AMSTERDAM, 16 June 2026 - The Netherlands based defense technology investment firm NUNC Capital, is proud to announce its backing of Planck Dynamics. This Delft-based company is building RAPTR, a rugged tactical edge computing platform that gives frontline units split-second AI at the point where life-and-death decisions are made.

Planck Dynamics, founded by Professor Nathan Eskue, is built inside TU Delft's House of Quantum.Professor Eskue brings two decades across NASA, defense, research, and technology to the company.

"The technology these operators carry today is too slow, too hot, or too bulky, and it asks them to send their data somewhere they cannot protect it", said Eskue. We built RAPTR to give them the upper hand: split-second insight, computed on the edge, amplifying their training and instinct instead of replacing their judgement. That is what a real asymmetric advantage looks like at the tip of the spear. Having a partner like NUNC Capital, with deep roots in European defense and a clear view of how this technology reaches the field, makes a real difference from the start."

The timing reflects a wider shift. Military forces are under pressure to out-decide adversaries who are themselves fielding AI, while keeping sovereign control of their data and their technology. The advantage increasingly belongs to the units that can sense, decide, and act at the edge without depending on a distant network. Planck Dynamics is built directly for that contest, with the Netherlands as its first market and expansion across NATO allies to follow.

“The Netherlands has positioned quantum as a national priority, backing that commitment with over €615 million in public investment and, as of May this year, the chairmanship of NATO's Transatlantic Quantum Community, said Bram Oostvogel, Founding Partner of NUNC Capital. Planck Dynamics is now putting that ambition to work."

About Planck Dynamics

Planck Dynamics B.V. is a Netherlands-based defense technology company that puts split-second, trustworthy AI in the hands of the units defending Europe at the tactical edge. Its platform, RAPTR (Rapid Action Platform for Theater Resolution), brings together edge data governance, a certified AI runtime, and quantum-inspired photonic compute in a single rugged platform for mounted land forces, special forces, border protection, and tactical intelligence units. RAPTR runs where other tactical AI cannot, keeps a unit's data inside the vehicle, and amplifies the operator's judgement to create a sustained, asymmetric advantage. The company is built inside TU Delft's House of Quantum and is backed by NUNC Capital. For more information, visit www.planckdynamics.ai.
