HAPPENING TODAY: CHINA COMMISSIE DEBATE - GET COMMENTARY FROM A TIBETAN PERSPECTIVE

DEN HAGUE - The China Comissiedebat is set to take place in the Tweede Kamer at 16.00 today. International Campaign for Tibet (ICT), the president of the Tibetan Community (TCNL) and the Tibet Support Group Nederland will be present to critically observe and provide commentary to the debate.

In advance of the debate, ICT and TCNL submitted a letter (attached) to the Foreign Ministry that included a comprehensive commentary on the current China Strategy and strongly criticized a recent report about China’s intimidation practices in the Netherlands that was commissioned after two illegal Chinese police stations had been discovered in Rotterdam and Amsterdam.
